    About the movie

From the director of Training Day, Antoine Fuqua, comes Olympus Has Fallen (Cert 15), a fast paced action thriller with stunning visual effects that will keep you engrossed right to the very end.

When the White House is captured by a terrorist mastermind, the American president finds himself in serious trouble.

Kidnapped along with his staff, President Asher (Aaron Eckhart, The Dark Knight) can do nothing but wait for help. And when former Presidential guard Mike Banning (Gerard Butler, Law Abiding Citizen) finds himself trapped inside the building too, he soon becomes their only hope.

Thrust into the centre of the rescue effort by Acting President Allan Trumbull (Morgan Freeman, Million Dollar Baby), only his inside knowledge can help retake the White House. But will it be enough?

As National security teams rush to respond, they face a race against the clock to prevent an even greater crisis on an Armageddon-like scale.

Olympus Has Fallen (Cert 15) will be showing in cinemas nationwide from 17 April.
